    Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Arts

    Anyone interested in learning about Utah and her people will enjoy a visit to the Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Arts. Located in a 150 year-old pioneer-era farmhouse in the middle of Salt Lake's Liberty Park, the museum is filled with objects created during the last twenty-five years by folk artists from cultural communities throughout the state. Native American baskets and beadwork, whittling and woodcarving, rag rugs and needlework, saddles and horse gear made from rawhide and horsehair and a variety of ethnic arts are featured - all from the State Folk Arts Collection administered by the Utah Arts Council.

    Hours: Summer (Memorial Day-Labor Day): Monday -Thursday 12:00pm-5:00pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 2:00pm-7:00pm; Spring and Fall: Saturday and Sunday 12:00-5:00pm.
